What happens on a pickup day

1. Request a pickup

2. Prepare the laundry
Please have your laundry ready by 9:00 AM on your confirmed pickup day.
Place the laundry in a clean laundry bag or another securely closed bag. If you will not be home, you may leave it in a designated location that we have agreed on in advance.
For repeat customers, we provide a complimentary Rivers & Fold laundry bag.
Before pickup, please check pockets and remove personal items such as keys, money, electronics, pens, and cosmetics. You should also separate or identify anything that needs special attention, such as a stain you would like treated.
3. We collect the order
We pick up the prepared bag from the confirmed address or designated location. If access instructions are needed, please include accurate information when you request service.
A clear handoff location helps prevent missed pickups and keeps the process simple when you are working, caring for children, or away from home.
What happens between pickup and delivery
After pickup, we weigh the standard laundry. You do not need to estimate the weight or calculate the total in advance.
We then send you:
- The laundry weight
- The applicable total
- Any separate pricing for bulky bedding, when included
We wait for your approval before processing begins. Payment is made after you approve the total and before your laundry is processed.
If you decide not to proceed after receiving the weight and total, no problem. Your laundry will be returned unprocessed.

How long delivery takes
Most orders are returned within 24-48 hours after approval and payment.
Orders that extend into the weekend are returned the next business day. We confirm the expected delivery timing when your order is accepted, so you know when to expect the completed laundry.
You do not always need to be home for delivery. If you have made arrangements with us in advance, we can use an agreed designated delivery location.
Turnaround can depend on the order size, item type, equipment availability, and other practical conditions. The 24-48-hour window begins after approval and payment, not simply when the pickup request is submitted.

- Grouped by type or household member where practical
Clothing, towels, sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and standard mattress protectors are folded into manageable stacks. Blankets, quilts, and comforters are returned ready to put away.
If you want certain items returned on hangers, please provide enough hangers with your order and tell us which items should be hung. We do not provide ironing, starching, or pressing. Some wrinkling may occur during normal washing, drying, folding, and transport.

Detergent, stains, pets, and item limits
You can choose from four detergent options at no extra charge:

Fragrance-free options are available for sensitive skin. However, our equipment also processes scented products, so we cannot guarantee a completely fragrance-free environment.
Stain treatment is available on request. Please identify the item and the location of the stain. We will pretreat identified stains when appropriate, but complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed.
Homes with pets are welcome. We accept normal household laundry from pet-friendly homes, including eligible clothing and bedding. We do not accept pet beds or items mainly used by pets. Items with excessive pet hair, strong pet odors, animal waste, or pest concerns may be declined.
For safety and equipment protection, we do not accept:
