Small preferences can make the service feel more like yours
Households have different needs. When requesting a pickup, you can choose from four detergent options: Arm & Hammer, Tide, All Free Clear, or ECOS Free & Clear. The latter two are fragrance-free, and all four are included with the wash-and-fold service.
You can also ask us to treat a stain. Please identify the item and the stain when you request pickup; we’ll pretreat it when appropriate, though complete stain removal can’t be guaranteed. If you’d like certain clothing returned on hangers, provide enough hangers and let us know which items to hang.
What happens after you request pickup?
A pickup request is not a confirmed appointment until Rivers & Fold confirms it with you. Available pickup days are Monday through Friday. On your confirmed pickup day, please have the laundry ready by 9:00 a.m. You don’t need to be home if we’ve confirmed a suitable designated location with you.
After we pick up and weigh your standard laundry, we’ll send you the weight and total. Once you approve the total and payment is received, we begin processing. Most orders are returned within 24–48 hours after approval and payment. If an order extends into the weekend, it will be returned the next business day; we’ll confirm the expected delivery timing when your order is accepted.
